The Lakers scored like crazy but could not defend to save their lives as Houston gets 80 points in the paint and shoot 58% from the field. Los Angeles are out rebounded 58 to 33 and allow the Rockets to score 49 points in the 3rd quarter. The Laker big men scored a lot but rebounded for little; Jordan Hill(12pnts, 5rebs), Wesley Johnson(11pnts, 4rebs, 5asts), and Ryan Kelly(18pnts) must become more consistent along with Jodie Meeks(30pnts, 6asts, 4rebs), who shot tremendously from the field. The story of the night came from our very own Steve Nash(5asts) who has passed Mark Jackson for 3rd on the N.B.A. All-Time Career Assists List with 10,335 dishes throughout his career. The other three effective plays off the pine were Jordan Farmar(15pnts, 8asts, 5rebs) who just got back from an injury, Robert Sacre(6pnts, 6rebs), and Nick Young(32pnts) who continues to make a case for 6th Man of the Year. L.A. has had the same story all year in having solid offense, but being anything but solid on the defensive end. Next game on Friday vs the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center(7:30pm[PT]). On to the next one.

Fan Question: Mitch Kupchak has officially signed a multi-year deal with the Lakers, was this a good move? This was a great move on the Lakers’ part and I am very excited for a future with Kupchak.
