Warriors at Lakers Game Recap

The Lakers could not seem to grab a rebound and have a tough time shooting(39%), allowing the Golden State Warriors to take control early and win the game. Nick Young(25pnts, 4asts) keeps making a great case for 6th man of the year, coming off the bench alongside Jordan Farmar(9pnts) and Robert Sacre(4pnts, 7rebs) who did not make good use of their minutes. The starters had only two guys who rebounded well out of the 8 active players in Ryan Kelly(14pnts, 11rebs) and Jordan Hill(18pnts, 12rebs, 4asts). The other three could not handle the Golden State duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson: Wesley Johnson(8pnts, 6rebs), Jodie Meeks(10pnts), and Kendall Marshall(7pnts). Los Angeles seemed fatigued early in the game and their 15 turnovers gave the Warriors a chance to go on fast breaks and tire L.A. out. Next game vs the Memphis Grizzlies at Staples Center on Sunday where the Lakers will try to kill the Memphis playoff hopes(6:30pm[PT]).

Fan Question: Do you like Nick Young’s idea of “Player Hater” basketball? I love it! It gives us a reason to keep playing hard every night!
