The Lakers stuck with Memphis the whole first half but let the Grizzlies’ lock down defense get the best of L.A. in the 3rd, where the game got a bit out of hand and Memphis gets to go back home with a win and their playoff hopes in tact. Despite all five starters playing well: Jordan Hill(10pnts, 10rebs), Wesley Johnson(15pnts, 15rebs, 4asts), Ryan Kelly(8pnts), Jodie Meeks(20pnts), and Kendall Marshall(9pnts, 9asts), the Grizzlies front court still took command down the stretch as both Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol notch double-doubles. Considering the shortened three-man bench, Los Angeles got solid production with Nick Young(14pnts), Robert Sacre(9pnts), and Jordan Farmar(5pnts, 7asts) putting in the effort in the last home game of the season. The Lakers’ attempt at playing “player hater” basketball wasn’t the biggest success but the most the organization and their fans can hope for is to finish the year out strong. Next game in Utah against the Jazz Tomorrow(6pm[PT]). On to the next one.

Fan Question: Were you a “Let’s Tank Fan” or “Let’s Finish with the Pride of Winning Fan” towards the end of the season when the Lakers were booted from Playoff contention? I consider myself a “Let’s Finish with the Pride of Winning Fan”.
